What's New

We made Dictation more stable and solved several issues that lead to crash of the application.
We introduced few minor fixes into the application’s appearance, for instance we made better animation of the microphone icon. The new version has solved the problems with scrolling experienced by some users. Besides that, we improved the logic behind text editing using voice, now the application will understand you better. By the way, now you can simply shake your iPhone to cancel the last action.

App Description

Try out Yandex's speech technology. The SpeechKit app records text as you dictate and perform voice commands. You won't even need to touch the keyboard to make notes or write an SMS.
Features of Yandex.SpeechKit include:
– Voice activation
Just say “Yandex, record!” to start recording.
– Speech recognition
As you speak the app turns your speech into text.
– Voice-activated control
Edit texts using commands such as “Delete last word”, “Start new line”, or “Add happy emoticon”. Yandex.SpeechKit not only recognizes words, but also understands their meaning, so there’s no limit to the types of commands you can use.
– Punctuation placement
The app inserts punctuation marks based on pauses in your speech.
– Speech synthesis
You can listen to your text by using the command “Read all”.
All recorded text is automatically saved in the app. After you’ve registered on Yandex.Disk, the text will also be saved there. Any recording can be sent directly from SpeechKit via SMS or email, as well as posted on your social networks.
