iVIEWS - Madeira Islands Edition v.1.0

iViews is the ultimate travel pocket-guide for those visiting or planning to visit the paradisiac islands of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean.

The app features several panoramic views, a small map of the island with info regarding all major cities, an updated cultural agenda and a near me feature that allows visitors to know which monuments, museums, etc. are nearby their position.

- Control panoramic photos by tilting the device or by dragging the photos;
- Pop-up info balloons indicate main attractions visible in the photos;
- Shake the device to learn more about the location pictured in the photo;
- Explore a Madeira island map with info regarding all the major cities and locations;
- Access an updated cultural agenda of what's going on in Madeira (requires internet connection);
- Discover which monuments, museums, parks, etc. are nearby your position (use of iPhone's built-in GPS required) and learn a little more about them.

Future version 2.0 (due to late June 2009) will also feature Porto Santo island, new panoramic photos and other cool features such as detailed interactive map of Funchal city, real-time updated weather, tourists reviews, currency exchanger and 3 other languages (portuguese, french and spanish)!
