Squirrel Girl is coming to Marvel Puzzle Quest. The match-3 puzzle game from D3PA has you assembling a crack team of super heroes from the Marvel Universe, including Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hulk.

While Squirrel Girl's power to control squirrels may not seem to be on par with unbeatable strength or spidey senses, she's got the chops to take down Dr. Doom. In Marvel Puzzle Quest. She's also the first character to have color strengths in Yellow, Green, and Purple gems, giving her a unique power set. You can win win her in the Oscorp: Heroic story event, which ends on January 21.

The latest update for D3's Marvel Puzzle Quest has arrived on the App Store, bringing in a new episode and mode into the popular match three title.

In the latest episode, 'Enemy of the State', a mission in Japan gets ambushed by The Hand, with Wolverine reprogrammed to join them. In order to stop The Hand from carrying out their plan, Elektra, Captain America, Iron Man, and more will have to fight to get him back. Meanwhile, the new Survival mode challenges players to battle their way through waves of enemies, with rewards given out for getting past certain waves.

Marvel Puzzle Quest is available to download from the App Store for free.

D3 has revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy are set to arrive in the next Marvel Puzzle Quest episode, titled "Meet Rocket & Groot." In addition to this, both Rocket and Groot will appear in their own Versus Tournament starting on November 28, two days after the new episode arrives.

The episode will be run twice, with Thor: Goddess of Thunder available to win in the first run and Gamora in the second run, which will start on December 1.

Marvel Puzzle Quest is available to download for free now, with the episode bringing Rocket and Groot set to arrive on November 26.

Marvel Puzzle Quest, by D3PA, is celebrating its 1-Year Anniversary with the inclusion of the new Thor: Goddess of Thunder. She will be a a legendary 4 star character reward for Season VII and will be available October 17. This is her first video game appearance, making it a landmark event.

Starting October 8, players will be able to earn Devil Dinosaur - the character who looks like a big, red Tyrannosaurus Rex - and play in special in-game events. For New York Comic Con fans you can check out Marvel Puzzle Quest at Booth #347. D3PA will be offering hands-on demos and a free raffle for prizes, and new users that download the game now through October 18 will receive bonus Iso-8 resources.

Over the weekend, during the Marvel Games Panel at Comic-Con, plenty has been revealed about the near future for Marvel Puzzle Quest.

The frequently updated Match-3 puzzle game is set to enjoy the delights of Deadpool come August 1, with a new episode titled 'Deadpool vs. Marvel Puzzle Quest.' Upon conclusion of the episode, players will be able to add him to their roster.

As well as that, tomorrow (7/29) there'll be a significant new gameplay feature in the form of Team-Up, allowing you to bring in heroes that aren't in your roster. It's hoped that the feature will add more tactical flexibility for players.

Marvel Puzzle Quest is available now from the App Store for free, and it's excellent fun.
