PONTHIER: CELEBRATING FRUIT SINCE 1946

André Ponthier created his eponymous company in 1946 in the heart of Limousin. In its cutting-edge high tech laboratories, Maison Ponthier perpetuates its gastronomic heritage with the greatest respect for the environment. Meticulous selection of fruit from partner farmers, perfect traceability of the fruit varieties and sources, systematic analysis of pesticide residues and the personal commitment of Yves Ponthier in taste tests are all key elements that set Ponthier apart. Today exported to 65 countries all over the world, the Ponthier fruit purée range delights every chef looking for authenticity and genuine terroir flavours. In 2015, Ponthier launched its new range of vegetable purées.

This second version of the Ponthier app, version 1.2, provides all professional users of fruit and vegetable purée access to a database of recipes devised by experts using Ponthier specifications. The recipes in the app are regularly updated. With its integrated search engine, the 1.2 version also allows users to search by fruit. The latest recipes in the app can be recognised by their "New" icon.

The Ponthier app content:

• INTRODUCTION: animated film
• HOME PAGE: profession tabs (Bar, Pastry or Gastronomy), Home tab (company presentation), choice of language (FR or EN)
• BAR TAB: preview of recipes and their specifications (season, cocktail with or without alcohol, classic recipe or original creation, fruits used), access to the flavour search engine. Access to recipe details by clicking on the preview (picture and instructions).
• PASTRY TAB: preview of recipes and their specifications (season, type of pastry, fruits used), access to the flavour search engine. Access to recipe details by clicking on the preview (picture and instructions and diagram).
• GASTRONOMY TAB: preview of recipes and their specifications (season, type of dish, fruits or vegetables used), access to the flavour search engine. Access to recipe details by clicking on the preview (picture and instructions).
