Just start the application and it will automatically record your speed, direction, heading.

Featuring 16-point compass to show you which direction you're heading in, plus miles per hour, kilometres per hour, metres per second and knots.

Make sure you have enabled the app to access location serivces on your device. Check Settings->Privacy->Location Services -> Heading GPS Drive - Speedometer GPS Tracker ->ON

Enable the Today widget to check your speed whenever you like – including from the lock screen.

Note: Heading GPS Drive - Speedometer GPS Tracker requires GPS to get your speed and direction. It may not work indoors, in tunnels, or around tall buildings.
