The Maillol museum presents a special exhibition dedicated to Etruscan civilization, from the ninth to the first century BC Eight centuries of history taking place in the center of the Italian peninsula, before it is completely dominated by Rome. This civilization, part of a rich Mediterranean and international context of trade and therefore exchanges, reveals a fascinating and surprisingly modern people.
The official application of the exhibition at the Maillol museum will introduce you to all aspects of life and culture of the Etruscans with about thirty pieces of exceptions commented.
The application will also guide you into the permanent collections with a dozen masterpieces by Aristide Maillol commented.
