App Description

Face Scanner uses the rear or front camera to recognize faces and associate it with a name.
First you have to store faces in database.
This scanner can be used for access control and for identification purposes.

It's better to use real person instead of photos to adding persons in the database because you need to have different angles of the face.

This scanner give you only a probability that the face you scan is identical with the one stocked in the database. in case of low probability you must confirm with other method the identity of the person.


Potential uses:
- Private parties access control.
- Companies access control.
- Identifies Lost persons.
- Identifies wanted persons.

How to use it:

To store faces in database:
- Click the database icon
- Click the + sign to add a new person
- Click the front or rear camera button
- Move the camera around the face to show different angles of the face.
- Wait to have 10 photos taken.
- the face is saved in the database.

To recognize faces:
- Open the application
- Choose the rear or front camera
- Move to the camera around the face you want to identify
- The application should display a green square
- The name is displayed on the left and the probability on the right.
