Incorporated in March, 2011, Capital Vélo Fest Inc. is a non-profit corporation based in Ottawa, Ontario with the mission to "Inspire people of all ages to ride a bike more often".
Our primary event is the bicycle festival on the first weekend of June. In 2011, an estimated 1000 people attended the inaugural event. In 2012, the festival has expanded to a full weekend event. On Saturday, the festival is at Ottawa City Hall from 11am-11pm. On Sunday, the festival will be continue on a smaller scale in 2 neighbourhoods in Ottawa : Ottawa East in Brantwood Park, and in Hintonburgh in Hintonburgh Park.
