New digital poetry comes to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch!
Integrated poetry, interpretive film, original text and social media.
The Bed is the first in a series of cross-media poems created to introduce new and exciting ways of presenting poetry. It integrates poetry with film, music and audio experiences, creating a digital narrative, new to poetry. It is our intention to present a new context for the way in which poetry can be created and presented, enhancing the experience for new and established readers alike.
In so doing, we hope to make poetry accessible to a whole new audience and present a new context for the way in which poetry can be created, presented, and experienced.
Held landscape, the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch will show the film of the poem.
Held portrait, the app will allow you to scroll through the words of the poem. This orientation also gives access to your in-app journal and discussion forum; make notes just for yourself or share thoughts with other readers, create a user account and log in.
