Writing.Com presents "Party Prompts", the iPhone app with an endless supply of dinner party conversation starters and inspirations!

Our party prompt generators use various places, current news headlines, scenes and sketches, giving you an endless supply of ways to break the ice and start a conversation with your dinner party mates. No longer will you have to sit through those uncomfortable silences; simply pull out "Party Prompts" and discuss!

Shake your device or swipe across the screen to change prompts. Add the prompts you like best to your favorites and revisit them at any time.

** Four prompt generators: Places, News, Scenes and Sketches. Each tab provides various combinations of conversation starters including visuals, instruction and text to spur your discussions.

PLACES: On the 'Places' screen, touch the map to move around and explore the surroundings. Pinch to zoom. Discuss the place and ask questions. If it's popular, see if anyone has been there and find out if anyone wants to go. If the place is a 'question', answer by discussing it with a group of people. If it's just a unique spot or view, talk about how cool it looks zoomed in from a satelite in space.

NEWS: On the 'News' screen, use the headlines to prompt discussion of current events. Mixed with 'Top Stories', random headlines are provided through news searches with random words. These unique topics will help spur conversation. Tap 'Refresh News' to fetch updated headlines based on a different random set of words.

SCENES: On the 'Scenes' screen, share the elements with your group and decide how best to use them. Double tap any element to change just that one element.

SKETCHES: On the 'Sketches' screen, work with people around you to craft a story, make jokes or break the ice. Touch and hold a sketch to see it larger. Double tap any element to change just that one element.

"Party Prompts" comes with millions of dynamic prompt possibilities generated by combining 400 words, 60+ genres, 60 sketches, 10 colors in a variety of different ways. The news prompts are generated through real time news searches based on the 400 words that come with the app. The "Places" are generated through maps and provide hours of discussion material.

Add up to 4 additional packs of prompts through in-app purchase. Each pack includes more places, scenes, sketches and colors. The more elements you have, the more varied your prompts will be! With all 4 add-on packs, this app can generate billions of unique prompts to talk about!

** Store an unlimited number of prompts in your "Favorite Prompts" by tapping the favorite star on any prompt. Quickly swipe back and forth to page through them.

** Prompt generators support both portrait and landscape orientations.

** Multitasking support! Switch to another app and back, "Party Prompts" resumes quickly right to where you left off.

** Swipe right-to-left to go back to previous prompt! (This is an option that can be turned off in the settings area).
