Parking a boat is not simply "a job". It's the dance between a 10.000-ton ship and the waters, and the docks are simply the dancing floor. Feel your ship drifting on the waves, make all the right moves at the right time, and she will be happy at her new home. Take one wrong step, however, and your ship will step on the toes of other ships, or will simply run aground. Each mistake costs you parts of your ships, and probably a loss of your captain's licence. Each successful parking, however, will earn you money and prestige.
