My Dear Guest,
Congratulations on having survived the game thus far. However, now that you've proven yourself worthy and up to the challenge, I believe you just might be ready to continue with an expansion that I've added to our little game.
The idea is simple. As you make your way about the house, solving the diabolical posers found within, parts of my larger story will be revealed to you. But you'll need to pay close attention to the tales I tell, for when you arrive at your final destination, you will be required to provide the answers to the mysteries that I have laid before you.

The 7th Guest Board Game was designed to be a faithful reflection of the original video game experience in which you compete with other guests, pursuing your assigned destinations and solving the mental challenges devised by the diabolical toymaker Henry Stauf. But there was one element missing from the board game experience that was a rather fun and significant part of the original video game. That element was... story. So Trilobyte Games created The Stauf Tales Expansion Pack, with stories brought to you from the delightfully perverse imagination of Matthew Costello, the very same author of the original 7th Guest saga.
The Stauf Tales Companion app, read by Michael Anthony, is the audio book equivalent of the expansion pack for your mobile device. Use the app while you play the 7th Guest board game and listen to the story cards that are revealed on the game board and on your mobile device as they are read aloud. But pay close attention. Each of the nine stories in the expansion pack are self-contained mysteries, and all nine stories taken together, add up to tell part of a much larger story, further enriching the saga and backstory of the mysterious world of Henry Stauf, the people of Harley on the Hudson, the seven guests, the Lady in White, and much more.
From the outset, it was Trilobyte’s prime mission to bring the element of story to gaming. The 7th Guest Expansion Pack: The Stauf Tales preserves and extends this mission by expanding on the original narrative and game experience whereby you, as the Guest, are introduced to bits and pieces of mystery stories that must be solved by the time you make it to the Little Room at the Top.
The Stauf Tales Companion app can be enjoyed as a standalone entertainment product, but is best used in conjunction with the physical board game and expansion pack available exclusively at the Trilobyte Games online store. https://trilobyte-games.myshopify.com/
