The full name of the game is Gomoku Narobe or Gomokunarabe, translating as “five stones in a row”. Other names for the game are Japanese Tic Tac Toe, Morphion, Itsutsu-ishi, 오목 [五目, 五目並べ, Go Bang, Omok or Pegety.
