Dhwani Tanpura - The application has been designed and carefully tuned to accurately reproduce the sound of an original Tanpura instrument, including its beautiful tone, resonance and overtones.

The tanpura (tambura, tanpuri) is a long-necked plucked string instrument, originating from India, found in various forms in Indian music. It does not play melody but rather supports and sustains the melody of another instrument or singer by providing a continuous harmonic bourdon or drone.

All musicians, professional or amateur, experts or beginners, need Tanpura or Shruti box for the practice and performance of Indian music.

You can fine tune the pitch with a resolution of 10 cents, also independently fine tune the pitch and adjust the global volume.
