App Description

The Managed Health 4 All App provides prospective clients with an opportunity to determine exactly which vitamins and supplements they require based on their unique blood test results.

This App requires the user to register and provide their personal information and biometric data i.e. age, gender, height and weight via a secure password protected/OTP format using their email address or mobile number.

The user is introduced to the concept of the App and provided with information as to why they should purchase vitamins and supplements based on their blood test results as opposed to simply buying something off the shelf, without knowledge as to whether they actually require that vitamin/supplement or not. The user will be directed to the disclaimer and terms and conditions/privacy policy of the App and the opportunity to accept same. The user will then download the laboratory blood test form, print same and go to the laboratory for blood tests. The user’s blood results will be imported into the App directly from the laboratory and their results will be graphically displayed within a “normal” reference range as provided by the laboratory. Should the user’s blood test results not be deemed optimal, as per the algorithms written by the doctor who designed the concept, the user will be advised as to why their level may not be optimal and the possible consequences of sub-optimal results, as well as links to websites to research more information related to their blood level and the implications of an abnormal/sub-optimal result.

The algorithms have been written so that in the event of a user having a severely abnormal (high or low) blood result, they are advised to see a doctor and not proceed with purchasing supplements or vitamins via the App. The user will be directed to the online store, where they will have the opportunity to purchase the diet book, which forms the basis of the eating plans which the App will provide once the book has been purchased. The user will also purchase the recommended vitamins and supplements, as advised by the algorithms and interpretation of their blood results.

The staff working for Managed Health 4 All will use the admin panel to identify newly registered users on a daily basis and arrange delivery of the diet book and the user’s vitamins and supplements in accordance with the time frame and delivery costs as per the website.

Push notifications will be sent to the user periodically, informing them of the need to have their blood re-tested, in order to identify their progress and need for a repeat of the same vitamins or alternatives. The user will have the opportunity to access a link on the exercise page of the App, which will direct them to a company who will provide them with an exercise program by trained exercise therapists.

This App is intended to advise the user of the exact personalised vitamins, minerals and nutraceutical supplements the user should purchase, based on results of their blood tests.

App registration and eating plans are free, provided the user purchases the diet book offered on the site. The exercise program will incur a separate cost, by arrangement with the company offering the service.

Costs of blood tests are covered by the user’s medical scheme or health insurance or will be for the user’s own account (to be settled with the laboratory) if they do not have health insurance.
