App Description
Playing online videos from Youtube, Facebook... on Chromecast device is an easy task but playing local videos such as MKV, AVI, WMV... on Chromecast seems to be impossible.
AirStreamer enables playing MKV, AVI, WMV... videos on Chromecast device.
No video conversion, no HDMI cable, no configuration. Just open and enjoy your videos on the TV screen.
AirStreamer supports 5.1 Dolby Digital surround audio.
System requirements:
• macOS 12.0 and later
• Chromecast 2nd, 3rd, Chromecast Ultra.
• TV with built-in Chromecast.
Network requirements (very important):
• Your Mac and Chromecast must be on the same IPv4 local network.
• Full WiFi signal strength on both devices. It's recommended to place your Mac near the WiFi router.
HDR requirements:
• 5GHz WiFi.
• Chromecast Ultra.
• 4K HDR TV (with HDR enabled on HDMI port).
• HDR videos in MKV or MP4.
