GPX Kit is the ultimate tool for gpx files, right in your pocket.

This app allows opening of gpx files via the iOS Share Sheet. You can also import gpx files via iCloud Drive and Dropbox. The app can also open gpx files that were attached to a mail.

The app supports gpx files with routes and tracks. Waypoints are imported as well. All imported files are saved in a local db. Routes can be shown on the map. For every route there is an elevation profile available.

Follower technology uses the compass and always points you to the next part of the route, with the distance to go.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

This app may use your location even when it isn’t open, which can decrease device battery life.
