App Description

Series(s) mHsec app(s) that 3R Brazil Environmental Technology developed to meet you with applications cost affordable, simple, clear and efficient in the area of health and safety, generating analysis tools and support environmental measurements. It was designed by M.Sc Engineer Rogério Dias Regazzi, chosen and supported CNPQ / IEL Rio de Janeiro, adding technology, business and professional as Rhuan Barreto developer of this app.

VDV Measurement is the preferred method as the vibration may vary and in many cases be intermitente. If the vibration level is steady then shorter measurements of the acceleration may be used. The eVDV equation uses the RMS Acceleration raised to the fourth power and is known as the Root-mean-quad method. This technique ensures the VDV is more sensitive to the peaks in the acceleration levels. Then when assessing intermittent vibration (mean of transportation) it is necessary to use the vibration dose value (VDV), a cumulative measurement of the vibration level received over an 8-hour or 16-hour period. The vibration dose value (VDV) is applied only to whole-body vibration (WBV) and a generic term used where any vibration of any frequency is transmitted to the human body.

In the case of evaluation of VDV vibration dose value which was just measured acceleration values, can in certain circumstances apply the eVDV (estimated vibration dose value). Thus, for a continuous vibration that is not varying in magnitude as a function of time and has a crest factor between 3 and 6 an approximation to the VDV may be determined from the estimated vibration dose value (eVDV). For Crest Factors above 6, the eVDV equation may be inaccurate, and this estimate should not be used (Reference: BS 6472-1:2008).

The app ViBAdvisor eVDV is a extremely easy to use calculator for estimating vibration exposures, based on partial normalized VDVP, Max VDVRaxis and VDVRv (Combined). It is a quick tool for auditing and analyze the measurement results and occupational reports. Issues reporting of occupational vibration and daily exposure help people to control and preserve health and safety. This App has as innovative feature complying the requirements of any regulations, normative criterion or CURRENT legislation: NHO-09, European Directive and ISO 2631. Just changing the App settings clearly and intelligently allowed the evaluation in different standards of input data. Automatically sending email as a report.

The greater the exposure level, the greater the risk and the more action employers will need to take to reduce the risk. For VDV the EAV is a daily exposure of 9.1 m/s1,75. The exposure limit value (ELV) is the maximum amount of vibration an employee may be exposed to on any single day. For hand-arm vibration the ELV is a daily exposure of 21,0 m/s1,75. It represents a high risk above which employees should not be expose. Controlling vibration at the source: The principles of best management practice (BMP) and best available technology economically achievable (BATEA) should be applied.
