Uniquely Seattle, the New Rock 98.9 launched in spring of 2016 with a playlist developed for the Northwest from 90’s Grunge and Alternative to Hard Rock. You’ll hear stalwarts like AC/DC, Metallica and Led Zeppelin. A typical set of music could include Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Green Day and Seattle’s own Queensryche. The station is dedicated to music with 55 Minutes of Rock each hour.
