App Description
The app shows all protected buildings, churches, fountains, bridges, streets and squares of the old town of Bern by text and image. The texts (most of them from Wikipedia) describe not only the cultural and historical specificities, but also the historical context and current events.
The app runs online and offline and displays the whole area on an aerial map of the Old Town, including navigation by GPS. The app can be used interactively, i.e. for each object the users own impressions can be added and shared in social media as texts, photographs, video or audio, making the app the perfect travel diary.
The online timetables of all public transport in the town, and the location of all car parks complement the cultural information.
