QONQR is a Geolocation MMO where players join one of two forces (the Legion or the Swarm) in a fight for control of the world. They'll create bases that are assigned to a zone within their city, and then must launch drones to destroy enemy bases and ultimately capture them.

In the latest version 1.11.1, QONOR now has more profile screen updates and offers 2 new screens: the Tactical screen for zone data and the Atlantis Screen for info on the battle foe Atlantis. The developers have also fixed a bunch of bugs to make for a smoother experience.

You can pick up QONOR for free on the App Store.

Our rating: starstarblankstarblankstarblankstar ::
Geek Resort is a tycoon-style park creation title with an overall fun art-style; it's simply let down on its reliance of in-app purchases to drive its gameplay, and a few obvious bugs.

Red Bull Sports Announces Red Bull Racers, Follow-Up to Red Bull Kart Fighter 3 - Due in March

Posted by Tre Lawrence on February 28th, 2014

Red Bull Media has announced a motorsports game called Red Bull Racers, which is due out soon for iOS devices. It's a career-type game that pays homage to its predecessor, Red Bull Kart Fighter, in that the progression starts with a Kart. Success allows for more items to be unlocked down the line.

For fans of real-life Formula One ace Stephen Vettel, the game will be especially enjoyable; his Red Bull Infiniti is one of the vehicles available in the game. There are other Formula One standout vehicles, which will appeal to racing fans. The gameplay promises to require more than just raw speed; all-around virtual skill will be needed.

The app will be available for free (with optional in-app purchases) on the App Store in March 2014.

Our rating: starstarhalfstarblankstarblankstar :: SPOILED BY IAPS
Deadman's Cross fuses a zombie-driven FPS with card-based battle gameplay. It's just a shame that some of this play is automated and needs a persistent internet connection.

Appy is Trying Something New for Valentine's Day, Makes In-App Purchases for All its Games $0.99

Posted by Rob Rich on February 14th, 2014

Appy is doing something a little different for the Valentine's Day weekend. Rather than putting their games on sale, they're putting all of their games' in-app purchases on sale for $0.99 each. So every single IAP in all of their games - FaceFighter Ultimate, Trucks & Skulls, Animal Legends, and SpellCraft School of Magic - is $0.99. Even if it used to be $99.99.

It's certainly something different, I'll give them that. I think it'll be interesting to see how this sale pans out.

Our rating: starstarstarstarblankstar ::
If Foursquare was more than checking into places and showing the world a digital footprint, and added cyber warfare, it'd probably be what QONQR is.
