Read The Full Review » Fishing might be a great pastime but it’s more famous for its relaxed pace than its action packed, slicing and dicing type excitement. That is until a game like Ninja Fishing comes along. Yes, Ninja Fishing. It really is that wacky a combination, bordering on the kind of absurdity that only a game featured inside Game Dev Story would normally offer.
Extra points are gained for capturing rare fish and there’s an upgrade system to play around with too. The lighthearted and devilishly humorous Ninja Fishing is set to be released August 4th. There’s just something nice about sitting on a lake with only nature and a beer in sight. Instead, we all have to work… sometimes even on the weekends. Working these days doesn’t necessarily mean productivity though, so hop on your iPhone and pick up Field and Stream Fishing. Field and Stream Fishing isn’t your ordinary zen-like arcade fishing experience, it is a full on fishing experience brought to you by the the official magazine company. With a handful of adventure quests to go on, 13 fish species to catch, and full flick casting with twitch controls, you might just be able to make yourself believe you are on the water. You’ll never be quite as cool as the guy below, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with your menial desk job.

A lush 3D fishing game that utilizes the accelerometer in the iPhone and iPod Touch to act as a virtual fishing rod. While there are already a few fishing games in the app store (iTunes Link), this fishing games utilizes rendered 3D graphics to a greater extent than we’ve seen thus far.
