The Paleo diet is one such cooking plan that makes a lot of sense. It's based on the concept that we don't need to eat heavily processed foods such as grains or sugars, because our bodies are much more adept and accustomed to dealing with natural foods. There's been a fair amount of evidence to back this up, too, with the diet bound to be worth giving a shot for anyone keen to live cleaner lives.
Caveman Feast is an ideal app for demonstrating just what a wide variety of delicious meals, sides, and treats can be made through maintaining the Paleo diet. It lacks the finer bonuses such as a shopping list feature or timer, but its plentiful supply of recipes ensures it's still appealing.
Divided up into logical categories, Caveman Feast prioritizes the advantages and all-round tastiness of meat. The app isn't for the vegetarian crowd, focused on the many meals that can be created from beef, pork, poultry and seafood. In each case, the recipe is simply laid out making it easy to see what ingredients are required, how long it takes to make, and what the resulting meal will look like upon completion. The latter thing being particularly important, as many regular cooks will know just how tantalizing it is to see a delicious meal laid out.
While Caveman Feast might lack calorific information, as well as a timer functionality, it does benefit from one significant option: the ability to change measurements between US and imperial at the touch of one button. For those, like myself, who use a weird mishmash of the two, it's pretty useful.
Each recipe is consistently appealing, as well as ably demonstrates how simple it is to maintain the Paleo diet. While the app won't cater for those pursuing certain allergy issues or other dietary needs, it's still a great place for Paleo fans to learn more and discover some delicious new ideas. Feast is the right word, indeed.
