Respawn's dazzling mech battler Titanfall has gotten its first mobile game at long last -- Titanfall: Assault. Assault transforms that parkour FPS action into a card battler not dissimilar to Clash Royale.

Titanfall: Assault
isn't just another clone, though. The game has some pretty deep gameplay, and it'll be helpful to have a few beginner's tips going in if you want a head start on the competition.

Save energy for your Titan

Your Titan is your most powerful unit, but they use up a good deal of energy. Save some of that up so that you can use your hulking mechs to sweep in and do some serious damage, especially if you're lagging behind.

Create choke points with your turrets

Use your environment to your advantage. There aren't lanes in this CCG, instead giving you an open map with alleyways, corners, and dead ends. Try to keep enemy soldiers from killing off your units with some well placed turrets at narrow points to block their access.

Take out groups of enemies with missiles

A little crowd control goes a long way. If you find yourself dealing with a group or two of "grunt" units, a swift missile strike will take care of these little pests nicely.
