Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition finally launched on the App Store today. This latest mobile entry in the Street Fighter series brings some much needed updates to the game, as other iOS titles in the franchise are certainly showing their age. The game is essentially a reboot of Street Fighter IV, but makes a bunch of changes to bring the game up to the modern day.
This new and improved version features a larger resolution and improved graphics, but the game introduces some mechanical enhancements as well. Champion Edition features the same 25 characters from Street Fighter IV while introducing three new contenders with six more arriving in future updates.
Players will also have access to improved controller support. The game now allows for MFi controllers, but if you don't have the hardware, there's a virtual joystick for your use.
Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition is available right now on iOS for $4.99.
