One of the most criminally underused properties in the Square Enix roster is undoubtedly Parasite Eve, a fantastic fusion of Resident Evil and Final Fantasy that deserved far more than two PlayStation One Games and a PSP follow-up. Now, however, Aya Brea is stepping back into the spotlight thanks to a collaboration between Eve and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

If you haven’t played anything from the Parasite Eve catalogue you are missing out. It starts with the protagonist, rookie cop Aya Brea, attending an opera only to have everyone area her spontaneously combust, which sets the tone for the rest of the game. The combat system was a then-experimental mix that combined an Active Turn-based system with free movement to dodge attacks as you used parasite powers to save Manhattan.

As said above, the series has been done a disservice and left to rot for far too long, but now you can help rectify this by recruiting the limited-time Aya Brea (Neo Vision) unit to your roster in Brave Exvius. Awaken her to EX+1 and EX+3, and you will also obtain the Mitochondria Eve Vision Card.

To help with this quest, you'll get a daily 10+1 summon for the Parasite Eve pull until October 11th, which will also give NV Echange Tickets to use on Aya, and Blood Moon Tickets for the eponomous Vision Card. There is even a second Login Bonus, giving the Neo Vision unit Lehftia day one, as well as Aya Brea Fragments, 1500 lapis, and more.

After amassing all this newness, tackle the Influence of Deep event to try and defeat the Mitochondria Eve boss, with exciting Collaboration Box Summon rewards. For the truly daring, the Birth of the Ultimate Being will have you test your mettle against a truly challenging boss, with those vanquishing it getting special rewards.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvis is available to download from the App Store and Google Play now and don’t forget to head to Facebook, Instagram, and Twix to take part in the Parasite Eve Community Challenge before September 30th, to help all payers grab some free Summon Tickets.
