LINE Games' Smash Legends has received a new update, which means the start of SMASH PASS Season 5: Wolves Streets. Among other things, this sees the addition of the game's 16th legend, Wolfgang.

Wolfgang draws inspiration from the big bad wolf in Little Red Riding Hood and is the first assassin character to boast a debuff skill. Players can get this new character by reaching the 15th stage of the SMASH PASS. Of course, other rewards can be earned along the way, including Keys, Boxes and Emojis.

Alongside welcoming Wolfgang to the game's roster, the latest update also introduces a new map called Queen's Chessboard – Late Night. Players will do battle here in the 3v3 mode Crown Guard, which has also received an update.

If you're unfamiliar, Crown Guard sees two teams looking to take down the opposition's crowned player, with the first to three points emerging victorious. The Queen's Chessboard – Late Night map is notably smaller than most, so you can expect more intense matches there.

Finally, the Playtime Event gets underway today and will run until 31st August, offering players a chance to grab numerous rewards, including Special Box, Bronze Box and Key Doublers. The prizes they receive will be determined by the time they spent playing the event.

If you've not heard of Smash Legends before, it is a PvP game with short, action-packed, three minute battles. There are now 16 characters to play along with nine different game modes.

Smash Legends is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
