Get in the Halloween Spirit with Robot Monster's The Doom Beneath

You may know Robot Monster from their previous interactive story, This is Not a Test. Well they're at it again with their upcoming graphic novel choose-your-own adventure RPG, The Doom Beneath.

The Doom Beneath looks to be similar to other gamebook style games, but with a much bigger focus on artwork - it appears more like a comic book than a traditional story book. It also uses a checkpoint system to save your progress so you don't have to worry about starting from the beginning whenever you get torn appart by some unimaginable horror. It's looking pretty interesting so far, with a nice and gritty black & white style and lots of spookiness. Coming from the same people who made This is Not a Test doesn't hurt, either.

You'll be able to check out The Doom Beneath when it releases on the App Store on October 1.
