Digby Forever Guide: How to dig to the deepest depths

Digby Forever is a sparkling homage to arcade classics, and while you may be tiring of the number of arcade games being thrown at you, this endless digger finds many ways to stand out from the rest of the pack. The game manages to be challenging without punishing you needlessly. You'll have fun whether you win or lose, but we have a few tricks up our sleeves to keep your drill spinning straight and true.

Short swipes are best

Digby responds pretty slowly at first -- it is what gives the game a bit of a challenge, after all. To counteract this, use slow, controlled swipes. This makes it easier for you to foresee where Digby will end up, and keep you from getting gobbled up by monsters.

Dig all of the things

You may just want to dig a direct path downwards, but try to resist! You're missing out on a lot of good stuff if you don't wander around. Dig through the purple rock and red crystal to pick up gems and other treasures. You can convert these into coins to buy card packs. Equip cards to upgrade you abilities and increase your survivability.

Be on the lookout for cave-ins

As you dig deeper and deeper, the cave will grow increasingly unsteady. Once it gets to a certain point, you'll need to be on the lookout for dangerous rocks falling from above. When the screen starts shaking, make sure you're looking up and down to ensure you're not killed by falling debris.
