Infinity Blade 3 iOS screenshot best games on sale for iPad and iPhone

This week's list of games on sale for the iPhone and iPad isn't too bad really. There's some gems on here, as well as some games that have had their prices cut low enough that you can look past the rough edges and questionable decisions.

As ever I've stuck download and review links where applicable. And if you think we've missed anything out, whack your own suggestions in the comments at the bottom of the article. After all, sharing is caring. Until next week!

F1 2016 - download for iOS (now 99c)

If you're looking for a challenging racer that won't hold your hand if you don't want it to, then look no further. It's super polished, it features all the F1 teams (albeit from a couple of seasons ago), and right now it'll set you back less than the price of a really cheap and nasty coffee. Quite frankly, I don't know what you're waiting for.

Kero Blaster - download for iOS (now $3.99)

Who you gonna call? Well in this game you're going to call a frog. A frog with some super-powered weaponry who can get the job done. A love letter to older platformers, this one is dripping with charm and filled to the brim with awesome ideas. If you've not played it yet, I suggest you get on it right this second.

Back to Bed - download for iOS (now 99c)

Poor Bob. He keeps falling asleep and ending up in surreal worlds where the laws of physics don't make sense. It's up to you to make sure he doesn't fall to his death in one of these narcoleptic stupors. This is an intriguing and engaging puzzler that, despite a few flaws, is still worth chucking a buck at.

Infinity Blade 3 - download for iOS (now 99c)

It's not just Infinity Blade 3 that's going for cheap right now, the whole Infinity Blade saga is. That means you can grab one of the defining moments of mobile gaming for less that 3 dollars total. Hack and slash your way through a series of monsters, gaining experience and new weaponry, then dying horribly. Live, die, repeat.

Tokaido - download for iOS (now $1.99)

A relaxing board game that's set in the deep Japanese past. Wander along a round, encountering other people, and trying to have the most satisfying journey. It's definitely an interesting premise, and there's enough here that you're definitely going to get your money's worth.

Evergrow - download for iOS (now $1.99)

A clever mix of a puzzler and an arcade game. This one sees you trying to make a block bigger. It's far more complex than that might sound though, and your wits and your fingers are going to need to be quick if you want to succeed. This is the sort of game that'll get stuck in your brain for a good few hours if you let it.

First Strike: Final Hour - download for iOS (now $1.99)

A game that's all about the end of the world. If that sounds depressing, I'll add that it's an apocalypse of your own design. Set the countries of the earth aflame with nuclear hellfire, in an attempt to stay alive on a molten rock for longer than anyone else. A fascinating look at war that also manages to be super fun.
