Simply Tasty Thai, located in the Pan-Am Plaza on Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach, FL, has been family owned and operated since 2009 and has been honored as one of the Jacksonville area’s top 100 restaurants. Owner-chef Nancy has over 20 years experience in authentic Thai and Filipino cuisine. Using freshly picked ingredients, freshly grinding curry paste in house daily and featuring made-from-scratch sauces are just a few of the hallmarks of Simply Tasty Thai. A variety of curries, stir-fries, noodle dishes and soups, fried rice dishes and salads are among the menu offerings, which also highlight signature and specialty items such as Crispy Duck with spicy basil and onion sauce, Choo Chee (turmeric curry with coconut milk, lemongrass and lime leaves) and Kra Pow Kai Dow (an original Thai basil dish topped with a sunny side up egg). Vegetarian options abound, and all menu items can be adapted to your preferred level of spice/heat: mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Simply Tasty Thai is open 6 days a week (closed Sundays) from 11AM-9:30PM. Lunch specials Monday-Friday11AM-2:30PM feature both a hot bar with six different dishes as well as two entrée choices served with Filipino pancit (small rice noodles with vegetables and soy sauce) or white rice, as well as a special Thai lunch menu prepared to order. We offer Thai and domestic beer, red and white wine as well as traditional tea, coffee and juice drinks. Take-out and delivery available. Serving Jacksonville, Mayport, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Verde and all surrounding areas.
