H.L. Mencken: The Early Writings explores the mind of one of the most influential American writers and prose stylists of the first half of the 20th century.
The App includes 20+ primary source historical artifacts published by the "Sage of Baltimore" in the years before 1923. Included are collections of biting social satire, critical essays on various authors and Mencken's classic work The American Language. Scholarly reviews of Mencken's early works round out the App.
