Newcastle Upon Tyne has an abundance of Art. The streets are full of commissioned works of Art. This app encourages people to go looking for Art in Newcastle, helps them to find it, then understand the Art once they have discovered it.
In addition to Public Art, Newcastle's rich and varied architectural heritage provide ample examples of beautiful stained glass, mosaics, ceramic tiles, ornate doors and Art Deco flourishes. Such 'adornments' are easy to miss and can be difficult to find. the App helps pedestrians in Newcastle locate the 'beautiful'.
For those that perfer their art in a Gallery, the art provides details of some the main art art galleries in Newcastle City Centre. There are also guides which can be downloaded to IBooks to help people walk around some of Newcastle's best street art.
