App Description

If you have a function you want to integrate, but you’d rather let a computer make a really close approximation then actually doing it by hand, then this app is for you.

Riemann Sums uses Riemann’s summation techniques to compute integrals. After entering your function and range, press “calculate”, and you’ll be prompted to choose from 4 different summation methods. These include

•Left (Bottom)
•Right (Top)
•Middle (Mid-Point)
•Trapezoid

Our built-in library supports the use of most common functions including logarithmic, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric and hyperbolic functions. Popular constants are built-in as well. These include Pi, Phi, Tau, sqrt2, e, log2e, log10e, ln2, and ln10.
