The Chattahoochee Voice is a fully licensed business headquartered in Columbus, Georgia. The Chattahoochee Voice is an online media company that services the greater Chattahoochee Valley around the Columbus, GA-Phenix City, AL MSA with the largest online news, events, and information website in the Chattahoochee Valley.
In this vast market of more than 450,000 people the media market is well represented however traditional outlets of media that have dominated the market and with the changes in technology so came the changes in the media offerings of the Chattahoochee Valley.
On June 1, 2016, The Chattahoochee Voice became the regions first independent web-based media outlet supplying news and information on events and the community at large in the area's only digital web-based format to the residents of the Chattahoochee Valley and those around the nation and world that also carry an interest in the area's events and headlines.
The nature of life moves at a rapid pace and with that pace technology changes almost daily. For example, a stroll down Broadway years ago would have yielded newspaper boxes and payphones. However, the digital age has changed the scenery to included cellphones for making calls and tablets to catch up on the latest headlines that are not obtained through Tweets or push notifications.
The evolutionary path of the transformation into the digital age is what has brought about the existence of The Chattahoochee Voice. This publication is meant to serve as a new and information source as well as a voice to the community. One that is not pinned by out of town corporate policies or a publication that takes focus on bias and divisions in its journalism, but rather unity and focuses on the community at hand.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a fee-free publication online for our subscribers and readers. Our site is set up as a service so we maintain the purpose of a free site for our users. We are homegrown and look at the people of the Chattahoochee Valley as our friends and families. A collective in which we share a common basis and meaning of life as well as a common voice which is shared through The Chattahoochee Voice.
