App Description

The Migraine Tracker App from Amgen is powered by Apple’s ResearchKit, allowing you to participate in a non-interventional (No drug / treatment) medical research study focused on migraine patients. This study is designed to assess how migraine attacks correlate with activity level measured by Apple Watch and Migraine Tracker App. Amgen is conducting this study to help researchers develop new ways to manage migraine symptoms. This Mobile App will be used to track migraines for this study.

Key Features:
Record and Track:
- Headaches
- Activity duration and pain intensity
- Physical activity (Steps) through your iPhone and Apple Watch device

Provide daily assessment of your migraine:
- Identify the impact of migraine on your physical functions.

Provide monthly assessment of your migraine:
- Identify the functional impact of migraine
- Assess scores on Migraine Functional Impact Questionnaire (MFIQ)


Receive reminders and notifications about:
- Logging your headache
- Daily and monthly questionnaires

Eligibility:
To join this study, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Reside in USA
- Have an existing diagnosis of Migraine

HealthKit Data Access:
The app will read the following fields from HealthKit with your permission:
- Steps
- Heart Rate

However, even if you satisfy the eligibility criteria it is possible you might not be selected to enroll in the study for various reasons. These reasons include if the study has been stopped, if you are not selected by the medical monitor, or the study has enrolled the maximum number of participants.

This App also has an Apple Watch extension. Users can use it to record Migraine Episode duration and activity(steps) information.
