Light in the Dark, by Dreamgate Studios, is celebrating the holidays with a new expansion called Aztec Ruins. In this update, the baby Totems have run off again. You'll have to solve the puzzles to find all of the lil' totems and return them to their parents. The Aztec Ruins add 72 new levels, including 12 challenge levels and character skins.

Aztec Ruins also features the new Ghost light feature, which makes enemies fall asleep when it hits them and deactivates other features, such as a revolving mirror.

Coming soon to the App Store is Light in the Dark, a physics and color-blending puzzle game that boasts a cool gaming pedigree. The resumes of team behind it cite such great series as X-Com, BioShock, and Fallout - meaning that hopefully Light in the Dark will be something rather special.

The game will have you leading a cartoon species called totems on a rescue mission to find their babies who have become lost in a maze of old tombs. Mummies and other creatures will get in your way as well as some good old-fashioned puzzles.

Set for release in September, Light in the Dark will be priced at $1.99. Check out the trailer in the meantime for a taster of what to expect.
