Living in the world of Zombie Highway, with its zombies that can jump 20+ ft. to leap on to your car, would almost not be worth it. It does make for a good game though.
Zombie Highway is a simple game that has you driving for as far as you can go while trying to rid yourself of all the unwanted hitchhikers (zombies) that jump on your vehicle. Unlike the typical, slow moving zombies in all my favorite zombie movies, these zombies can jump from the sides of the road and cling onto your car without a hitch. Once they cling on, they push, pull, and weigh you down, all in an effort to topple your battered vehicle.
To get rid of the zombies, you have to do what any good zombie killer does, shoot them or run them into road debris! Fortunately for you, the car that you drive is basically invincible, and is able to survive all but direct head on collisions. Once you get the hang of banging the side of your car into debris, zombie killing becomes second nature.
Losing the game though is rather easy, coming from either a toppled car or a head on collision in what becomes a maze of car debris. The driving on its own is easy enough, but once you get a couple of zombies on you, particularly the fat zombies, things get hard... fast. The typical game for me goes for about 3 miles or so and lasts for a few minutes, nothing too long, but good for some pick-up-and-play gaming.
If you're looking for another good high score obtainer for your game arsenal, Zombie Highway is a good choice. With a good mix of action and skill, it's easy to come back to this one if you need a quick challenge.
