Shapium is a seemingly simple puzzle game that gets frantic when you get to the higher, very crowded levels. While there’s no real clue what you need to do, you start at least by matching the pieces with their holes as in the video below. The idea is to move the pieces to their corresponding holes to fill them in. You must do this without letting any two pieces touch. This gets very difficult in the higher levels.

The graphics and sound are very interesting and well done. This is a very unassuming game, but it really impresses with the overall style and finish. There also seem to be some unknown extras in the game. This is Thanksgiving week in the United States, and just this week a turkey showed up in the game — it wasn’t there before.

While this isn’t a game that you will play for the rest of your life, it’s good for a couple hours play. A fun little diversion, a great game, at a great price.
