Titanfall is making its next attempt at breaking into mobile games with Titanfall Assault. Following in the footsteps of Titanfall Frontline, which was scrapped after a rocky beta test, Assault is hoping to succeed where its predecessor failed. In fact, Titanfall Assault is already in soft-launch in the Phillippines.

In Assault, players build a crew of Titans and pilots and send them into real-time, strategic battles. Keeping with on-going trends, the game will use a collectible card system. Players will build decks, employing powerful units and competitive strategies to get ahead of their opponents, and there's plenty of room for upgrades and customization. The PvP battles will play out across a series of different maps.

We're still waiting on an official release date, but Titanfall Assault is expected to land on both iOS and Android.
