Here in the U.S., we've completed our admittedly stupid ritual of moving the clocks forward an hour as Daylight Saving Time began this week. You still might be recovering from that lost hour of sleep (time travel is an odd thing, isn't it?), so the last thing you want to think about is cleaning. But now that the sun is staying out longer it's very well time to start preparing for spring cleaning. No one ever actually wants to do chores, but these handy apps should at least help streamline the process.

If you have kids, there's no better tool for managing those delicate allowance business negotiations. Chore Bank lets you create lists of chores, assigning a monetary value to each task. You can even write up a list of "consequences" should certain family members slack on their responsibilities.

Unfilth Your Habitat does a great job motivating you to stop being gross. If you're the type that needs a little app robot swearing at you to get things done, well, this is the app for you. The app breaks bothersome chores into short, timed chunks. Complete a series of tasks within the alotted time or feel the app's wrath. It's not as scary as it sounds, and you can set breaks for yourself, too.

Cleaning doesn't seem so bad when you can make some cash off of it. thredUP lets you do just that. Once you've sorted through your closet and set aside the clothes you don't need anymore, sell them on thredUP. Sending clothes to the service is completely free, and thredUP lists the clothes for you. All you have to do is ship them out.
