In Snipers vs Thieves, the conceit is fairly simple. You play as either a sniper or thief. Snipers protect the bank from devious thieves, while playing as a thief, you'll have to sneak around and try to rob the bank for all that it's worth without getting caught.

It's a whole lot of fun, but going up against other human opponents can be tough. If you're playing as a sniper, this guide will get you set up to become a star shooter that's ready to take on the leaderboards.

Gadgets are a sniper's best friend

As a sniper, you're in a key position to use the game's assorted gizmos and gadgets to your advantage. With a bird's eye view, it's important to place gadgets in strategic locations to slow down and deter the robbers.

Snipers have ammo, support, and trap gadgets that all have varying effects. Use ammo gadgets to buff your bullets. Explosive ammo is great for speedy opponents. Even if you can't hit them with the bullet directly, the explosion is sure to do some damage. Alternatively, using freeze damage can stop them in their tracks so you can sneak in a headshot.

Headshots are too

As a sniper, your job is to pull off sharp, accurate shots. If you want to take out the most robbers, try to brush up on your headshots.

Headshots will kill your opponents instantly, leaving you with fewer robbers to worry about.

Watch your enemy like a hawk

Watch the robbers for signs of weakness. They have limited stamina, so if they don't recharge while in cover they can only run so far. Catch them while their vulnerable and take them out.

If you lose track of the robbers, zoom out and get a feel for the field. As long as you have a general idea of where everyone's positioned, you'll be in a better spot to take out all of the robbers before they make it back to the van.
