Blasty Bubs is a colorful Pinball and Brick Breaker hybrid

QuickByte Games has another arcade treat in the works -- this time it's a mishmash of brick breaking and Pinball mechanics. It's called Blasty Bubs, and it's a top down brickbreaker that has you slinging balls around a board. You have one bumper on each side to keep the ball in play. Of course gravity will try to trip you up, and you'll want to try and knock out all of the "Bubs" in as few moves as possible if you want to see yourself on the leaderboards.

Once you master the basics, you can unlock a number of different balls with unique abilities, and choose from a variety of powerups to send scores through the roof.Blasty Bubs looks to be a fine little time waster, if all pans out, and you'll be able to get your hands on it on March 7.
