-- HOW PLAY.CARE WORKS –
During the assessment, the child plays educational games designed to identify characteristic behavioural patterns correlated to ASD.

While it’s an enjoyable experience for the child, the powerful technology measures the child’s behavior through up to 340+ different parameters per second, cross the ​game flow, movement and touch.

The test assesses things such as the child’s ability or willingness to follow instructions, their responsiveness to emotions shown by in-app characters, and the ability to perform precise and stable moves of hands and fingers to manipulate the touchscreen. Repetitive behaviors (both in gross and fine movements), arousal, lack of focus, and the inability to adjust to the requirements of changing tasks may be flagged.

While the child plays, algorithms perform an analysis of the data, comparing gameplay behaviour patterns displayed by typically developing children and those with confirmed autism spectrum disorder.

The result is a comprehensive functional behaviour profile across multiple domains, unique to the child.
