Located only an hour and a half west of Ottawa, situated between the Petawawa and the Ottawa rivers, Petawawa is an ideal place for getting outside and on the water. Petawawa is a gateway to Algonquin Provincial Park which offers a true wilderness experience. Home to a renowned bike skills park and pump track designed by Jay Hoots this is a place where bikes meet air.

Petawawa's Guide To Outside allows you to take advantage of everything that the area has to offer. Find hiking, cycling, skiing and snowshoe trails, paddling, SUP and rafting put-ins, golf courses, beaches, campgrounds and all of the other activities in the surrounding area. Enjoy fishing for bass, pike, trout and other species on miles of open water, or head to the area's other attractions such as the heritage village, ski hills, waterslide park and ziplines.
