The aircargo industrie looks well organized and super efficient. But everybody has the same issues. To implement systems to track shipments (especially if you use multipe carrieres) has always been hard.
Live POD enables aircargo truckers to report status information of any shipment in realtime. Your customers does not need to call your planning departments to get information of the location or status of a specific freight.
Forwarders and airlines will get all needed information about where an what is, but they also will be able to archive all parts of the delivery process and get their PODs (Proof of delivey) in realtime.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
