About the book:
A young boy is born with a cleft lip that makes him different. He is special in his grandmother's eyes, but his difference makes him self-conscious. He withdraws to his room and sings out his window, anonymously bringing joy to the village. No one knows who the special singer is until he sings at his grandmother's funeral. Then the villagers tell him how much they enjoy his special gift from God.
Education doesn’t have to be boring. It should be fun! Pickatale was made to improve children’s reading skills, to help them learn about animals, cultures, historical figures and more, and to have fun learning through reading books.
