The Gem Thief is an addicting retro-based arcade game inspired by the 1980 Berzerk video game for the Atari 2600.

Join us as you become the gem thief, a regular person who is out on a quest to save the gems of his village.

Lets bring retro-gaming to a completely different level by playing The Gem Thief.

Quick Instructions:
In this first version you move around simply by tilting your screen up/down/left/right and the gem thief will move in that direction. It is then up to you to attack the bad guys by simply tapping the screen any direction and he will fire in that direction.

There are currently 10 levels (including the boss), however the games objective for now is to see how many levels you can get to. In the future game center and tons and tons of additional features will be available.

Additional Tips - every 5 or so levels a big blue ship looking monster will appear. You can't beat this monster, but rather slow him down with the middle attack button.

Remember you have three attacks:

1) Normal - fast and can only target one enemy.
2) Slow - fast and won't harm enemy just slow them down.
3) Special - insanely fast, but limited to one time ever 5 seconds. Also this one can attack multiple enemies so use it wisely.
