Throughout the journey, meet inventors and designers who describe their inspirations and innovative creations. Then test your knowledge with a quiz, send an e-card from the future, or take a personality test — just for fun! The amusing character Beppo comes along for the ride, along with the inventor, Van, who takes you on a comic journey deep into the sea.

The app is secure and has no in-app purchasing. The 14 outgoing links are clearly labelled and lead to science videos, without links to other sites.

Created in Quebec in 1982, Les Débrouillards is a movement of scientific education found in 10 countries. The publishing division, Publications BLD Iinc., produces four magazines: Les Débrouillards, for kids 9 to 14 years, Les Explorateurs, for kids 6 to 10, Sports Débrouillards, and DébrouillArts. More than 250,000 kids read the magazines every month. Publications BLD also produces science-experiment books and comics, and runs two science websites for kids.
