Plays can now be emailed to other users of Touch-Coach 2
Plays can be slowed down
Landscape mode is now supported for line attack and defense.
Instructions for use:
Making Plays
1) When you open Touch-Coach you should move the players to the starting point.
2) Next click the 2 button at the top of the screen
3) Move the players again and press the 3 button.
4) Keep moving the players and pressing the buttons accross the top until you have entered your play.
5) Press the play button (triangle) and watch the move.
Emailing Plays
6) Click on the options icon (top right hand corner of the screen.
7) Click 'Save' and give the new play a name
8) Click on options again and click email. Select a play for the selection of saved plays.
9) The email screen will then appear. Enter the address of your team mate and click send.
Receiving Plays
10) When you receive a play in email click on the Touch-coach icon. You will be asked which application to open the play with, click Touch-coach.
You will need to go into 'Load Play' to find the emailed play. Click on the play and then press play and watch the animated touch move.
Slowing Down Plays
11) Under options you can set the amount of time each animation takes to run. To slow the play down increase the amount of time.
Landscape View
12) You can turn your iPhone / iPad / iPad sideways which is useful for planning or learning line attack and defense.
App Description
A simple app to assist with the coaching of Touch. Touch is also known as Touch Footy or Touch Rugby across the world. The sport is a 6 a side game and uses a ball similar to a rugby ball. This application allows the user to animate a play by showing the player and ball positions in each of 12 stages. The play button can then be pressed and the players and ball will animate the 12 moves that have been entered.
The first version of Touch-coach has been downloaded in over 30 countries with positive feedback being received from many coaches and players.
